Milk and Honey

The Milk and Honey collection, illustrated and designed by me, is a personal tribute to the strength and resilience of my home country, Dominica, following the devastation of Hurricane Maria. The phrase "Bring Back the Milk and Honey" is a powerful expression often used in Dominica, symbolizing the hope for restoration and abundance after the loss caused by the Category 5 storm.

As I reflected on the pain and loss, I found inspiration in the fundamental qualities that define us—our deep connection to nature, our vibrant spirit, and the rich craftsmanship passed down through generations. The collection, all in white, represents purity, rebirth, and the enduring beauty of our heritage. Each piece captures the essence of our people, culture, and unwavering resilience through these hand-crafted bag accessories.
